Offerings over summer
You may be restricted in doing the things you’d usually enjoy over summer, so why not use the time to learn something new and enriching? Through Focusing you can explore how the information your body holds can help you grow and feel supported. Focusing can help with easing difficult feelings and helps us counter our tendency to be mind dominant. Focusing helps us listen to the body’s knowing about how we are and what we need.

I am offering a range of options for support and exploration online over JULY and AUGUST. The training groups are usually small, giving opportunity for more attention for each person. No experience necessary!
Introduction to Focusing – Thursdays 12.00-1.30pm 23rd, 30th July, 6th, 13th Aug - £55 for four sessions*
Learn the Focusing-listening practice in bite size chunks, with experiential elements each week. Learn to listen to your body and trust the wisdom it can share with you. This is equivalent to the first day of the ten day Skills Certificate in Focusing.
Focusing with our Inner Critic – Saturday 25th July 2.30-4.30 - £25
Our critical voices can have a huge impact on us, making us feel bad and preventing us from doing what we want to do. Explore the presence of inner criticism in your life and through a Focusing approach learn how to work with your critic to feel better, move forward and enlist the support of your critic.
Focusing on Relating and Relationships – Friday 7th Aug 12.30-2.30 - £25
Our embodied experience plays a crucial part in our way of being in the world, and our way of being in relationships. Explore your own experience of the relationships in your life and the role your body plays in the way you relate to others. Experience how a Focusing approach may enrich your way of relating and open new possibilities.
One to One Guided Focusing Sessions – by individual arrangement – usual fee £50*
Tailored to your individual needs, no experience necessary, and at a time to suit you. You may want one to one teaching to learn self-guided Focusing or to just sit back and be guided through the process for support, grounding and exploration. The Focusing process can be used to help you develop a kinder inner relationship and is a great way to explore a decision and invite positive change into your life.
*Fees are low as peoples’ financial circumstances may have been affected by Coronavirus, but further reductions may be possible, so do ask if the fee would be difficult for you. It may be possible to change times of sessions to accommodate attendance.
